Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible for providing the highest quality work and service in the industry.

  • Install automotive window tint with the highest standards in mind.
  • Install commercial/residential film on occasion when needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service whether through direct contact, over the phone, or via email.
  • Assist customers when necessary and provide them with all the necessary information to make an informed decision with his or her purchase or inquiry.
  • Maintain a positive attitude 100% of the time so as to sustain a healthy and fun work environment for everyone.
  • Keep current on all product information.
  • Maintain an awareness of current advertising and promotions.
  • Ensure all areas remain clean and organized at all times.
  • Potentially train new employees when needed.

This position reports directly to the Shop Supervisor with indirect reporting to the General Manager and/or Owner(s).

Qualification & Requirements

  • Must be highly motivated and extremely organized.
  • Must be very mechanically inclined and able to think creatively and innovatively.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Be able to work with and around a diverse group of people.
  • Ability to work with customers and other employees while consistently representing the company in a professional manner.
  • Maintain proper dress and a well groomed appearance at all times.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of window tinting experience preferred but not required.
  • Some retail background preferred but not required.
  • Ideal candidate will be able to work 40 hours per week, including some Saturdays, but part-time will be considered.

Work Hours and Location

  • Generally a set schedule of Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, but available to work a varied schedule on Monday through Saturday between 7:00am to 7:00pm.
  • Southern side of Springfield.

Policy Of Drug Testing For Prospective Employees

Glass Tint USA firmly believes that the use of illegal drugs, excessive alcohol, and other controlled substances is detrimental to a safe and productive work place. We support the principle of each employee maximizing his or her abilities. The use of drugs, excessive alcohol, and controlled substances is counter productive to this personal development. For the above reasons all potential employees will be required to take a drug test that will evaluate the possibility of drug use. Any prospective employee who tests positive will not be considered for employment unless subsequent testing proves that substance abuse is no longer a problem. The initial drug test will be paid for by Glass Tint USA. However, any additional testing at or before hiring to prove the absence of drug use will be at the expense of the prospective employee. Any prospective employee who refused to provide a valid urine specimen or tampers with a specimen for testing purposes will be automatically disqualified for the job they are seeking.

After employment, if management observes behavior that gives them concern that there is drug, alcohol or controlled substance abuse the employee may be required to be tested to assist management find out the reason for the unusual or unsatisfactory performance. The company will pay for any retesting that is required of an existing employee. The consequences for violations of company policy will be left up the company’s management based on the circumstances and the employee’s attitude concerning resolution of the problems. This is a serious issue, and can lead to termination of employment or disciplinary actions. Glass Tint USA only wants their employees to live up to their potential and develop their carrier potential to the fullest. The problems created by these issues almost always get in the way of satisfactory performance.

Notification and Authorization to Release Criminal Information for Employment Purposes

Notification

The position for which I am being considered requires me to consent to a criminal background check as a condition of employment. This check includes the following: Criminal history reference searches for felony and misdemeanor convictions at the county and federal levels of every jurisdiction where I currently reside or where I have resided during the past 7 years; and sex offender registry searches at the county and federal levels in every jurisdiction where I currently reside or where I have resided.

Authorization

I hereby authorize Glass Tint USA to conduct the criminal background check described above. In connection with this, I also authorize the use of law enforcement agencies and/or private background check organizations to assist Glass Tint USA in collecting this information. A-Check Global has been secured as a third party vendor (consumer reporting agency) to assist Glass Tint USA in collecting and verifying information.

I also am aware that records of arrests on pending charges and/or convictions are not an absolute bar to employment. Such information will be used to determine whether the results of the background check reasonably bear on my trustworthiness or my ability to perform the duties of my position in a manner which is safe for Glass Tint USA employees, clients, customers, and other community members.
